Ready, Set, Hold Up!


It's easy to over do it when you're first getting into a workout routine. Your goals are fresh in your mind and you are ready for the changes that will occur as a result of your hard work. This often leads us to the "too much too soon" effect. 

Side effects include but are not limited too:

-Incerase in the earth's gravitational pull

-Your muscles feel like they were put through a meat grinder

-You start aging in dog years

Just kidding (kinda, sorta), but you are definitely hindering yourself from being consistent. The best advice we can give you is:

1. Listen to us

2. Develop your body awareness for CrossFit through scaling and being patient

3. Allow your cardiovascular system to develop so you can think straight while you are moving

4. Remember you're here for the long haul, not the short term gains (At least we hope). Let this time be the last time you start over. The goal is to show up, enjoy the hour and learn a little. Do it all again the next day. We want you to build your attendance to 4-5 times per week.

Lastly- Remember this- Every single one of us was a beginner at one point in time. The only thing that separates us is time and experience. Showing up bridges the gap!
