Do you ever celebrate the small stuff? Most times, we’re so caught up in the big picture of what we are trying to accomplish that we forget to celebrate the little milestones along the way.
Say you have a goal of losing 10 pounds but you’ve only lost 5. You come to the gym 3 days a week but this week you made it 4. That’s a small victory! By acknowledging it, you are reinforcing your positive actions which leads to more positive actions. Adding in that extra day will absolutely help you reach your goal.
Take a step back and look at your day. Point out those small victories to yourself. They matter and make the journey to our goals rewarding and enjoyable!
