Hello My Lovely Friends!
We hope you are enjoying your meals (A.K.A. fancy leftovers) this week! My boys and I cannot get enough of the sticky chicken. All of the food we cook for you, our family eats the same thing. Everything we prepare is carefully thought out and cooked with lots of love!
There are 4 badass FreshJunkie salads on the menu this week, get you some greens! (Still deciding if I should or shouldn’t drink the Brickhouse dressing)
We are proud to be partnering with Geaux Crossfit as a meal prep drop off location! They just built a gorgeous new facility at 12110 S. Harrells Ferry Road. Get fit and fed all in one stop! The coaches and members are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.
I am making our Original Avec Tous Spice Chicken Salad this week, but I am also making an Asian inspired Chicken Salad. If you didn’t know, we make our own Aioli using organic egg yolks, lots of yummy ingredients, and olive oil. The recipe for our Aioli is on our Instagram story, and it is also for sale by the pint or quart. For the Asian Chicken Salad, I add fresh ginger, cilantro, and Sambal Oelek. It does have a bit of heat to it, but it is to die for. I don’t want to tell you what to do, but get the chicken salad, at least one of them.
All of the entrees this week are going to be delicious, as always. I’m pretty excited about the Fresh Dill Salmon Cakes, and the Avec Tous Spice and Sage Ground Pork Patties. The pork is like breakfast sausage patties, but a trillion times better. Also, the braised chicken thighs are bound to be yummy with all of the mushroom umami.
There is talk of us offering some “breakfast” meals. I’m on the fence about the quality of reheated eggs, but we may test it out. We like to think of our meals as Meal 1, Meal 2, and Meal 3. Of course you can have Ginger & Garlic Turkey Stir Fry for breakfast!!! Breakfast doesn’t have to be eggs and bacon, and it should never be pastries.
Minimum order is 3 meals. Delivery (within the Baton Rouge area) is included in all orders over $50.00. Orders under $50.00 can be picked up at FreshJunkie Southdowns location - 4257 Perkins Road OR Geaux Crossfit - 12110 S. Harrells Ferry Road.

We use organic veggies & quality fats/oils - olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, and Kerrygold Grass-fed butter.
