Pumpkin Pi Race: 2 Weeks Away!


If you don’t have plans, join the Geaux CrossFit team for some fun! We can a prize for biggest team. We can also win if two of our teammates carry a pumpkin and post the fastest time.

It’s been a while since we’ve done a big group for a 5K and it’s been even longer since we’ve done something for Halloween. We can knock both of those things off the list with this event. Registration is below!


The Pumpkin Pi 3.14 Mile Race and Tough Pumpkin Challenge is no ordinary 5k. This Halloween costumed race is exactly 200 feet longer than a traditional 5k, and if you’re really a tough pumpkin, you can take the Tough Pumpkin Challenge by running the race while holding a pumpkin! The Pumpkin Pi Race is an official event of the Fifolet Halloween Festival.


Workout of the Day

A.) 3 Sets:

10-15” Chin Over Vertical Plane Hold

8-10 Reps DB Seated Hammer Curl 8-10

B.) 30”work/30” rest at each station. Score each movement separately 

6 Minute Rope Climb

5 Minute Burpee Box Jump (20”)

4 Minute DB Snatch (50/35)
