What’s the record for DNCs and Pukes for a given workout? I see yesterday we had 8 DNCs and 2 Pukes.  Last week the consecutive double under WOD gave us some problems (22 DNCs).  Any statistics or records you care to share?  grin

Hi Everyone!  I am doing the challenge but have to attend a conference in 2 weeks.  I need ideas for paleo food I can eat.  Here’s the situation:  I am flying, staying at a hotel without a fridge in the room, all meals during the conference are catered in (I will be in session from 8:30am - 9:30pm), and I won’t have a car to get to a store.  I told the conference organizers I have a gluten allergy…but that often means I will be served rice and cheese along with some sort of protein.  I need food that is healthy, filling, and easily transportable!

Thanks for the help! tongue wink

Bethany, apples, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, and jerky are good travel options since you don’t have a fridge. You can make your own trail mix this way: mixed nuts + light oil of choice (to help spices stick), and shake it with either something savory like garlic powder, black pepper, chili powder, lime, OR something sweeter like cinnamon, pumpkin spice, nutmeg, vanilla extract, etc… Lots of ways to get creative with that. And you can even add dried apples, raisins, cranberries, mangos, bananas, coconut shreds, etc. You can add flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, etc. Just pick your favorite stuff and shake it up smile There’s a great beef jerky outlet by Bass Pro in Denham, you should check that out. There’s also tuna & salmon pouches that don’t need to be refrigerated. You could bring mustard packets and some kind of Mrs. Dash type spice to mix your own quick tuna/salmon salad. Depending on how prepared you want to be, you could also bring avocados,  carrot sticks, cherry tomatoes, apple chips, banana chips, etc. Larabar’s are paleo, and certain “fruit straps” are also paleo (just have to find the ones without weird ingredients and added sugar, whole foods has them.) You could bake some sort of paleo muffins or scones and put them in ziploc bags. Man I could go on and on about this, so I’ll stop there, hope this helps smile
