TUESDAY

Just wanted to check in with everyone and see how they are doing with the challenge.  Around this time you usually start to feel the cravings for sugar.  A few of you have even said that you dream of treats!  Are you having cravings as well?  What are you doing to manage? Post to comments.

MONDAY

Just wanted to tell everyone they are doing a great Job with the challenge and also EVERYONE in the gym has really stepped their game up.  Keep up the good work!  Also, special thanks to Melody for giving us an awesome tour of Whole Foods.  Let’s see who works the hardest this week.  We have our eyes peeled.

DAY 4

SATURDAY


It seems like everyday the temperature gets 1 degree hotter.  Running in the heat is something we can’t avoid so it is good to be prepared.  I want everyone striving to drink at least a gallon of water everyday and make sure diet is on point.  For those of you logging nutrition, start putting down your water consumption.  Sunscreen wouldn’t hurt either for the outside runs smile.  We only get one body so lets take care of it.

Hey guys!  Let’s all take a look at the meal of the day blog on our site and try to make one of the meals this weekend!!  Go to forums and post them under general discussion/PALEO CHALLENGE- RECIPIES AND FOOD EXPERIMENTS smile.

FRIDAY

Gym will be closed at 6:30 and 7:30pm

Remember the tours tomorrow will be held at 6:30 and 7:30pm.  We will meet in the front of Whole Foods near the produce entrance(outside).  If you have a Geaux CrossFit shirt, wear it smile.

Also Here are some things to remember:

1. MUST COMPLETE NUTRITION/ WORKOUT LOGS DAILY- Register under forums
2. Fitness test must be completed no later then the 3rd with pictures/measurements/ weigh in.
3. Just a heads up, we went on sale for Groupon today. You will be seeing a lot of new faces!  Welcome them and be solid examples of Geaux CrossFit!

Now that we are finally in the paleo challenge, there are a few things I want to remind you about:

IF you still need a buddy post to comments.


1. Fitness Test
2. Measurements/ weigh in
3. Turn in Contract
4. Fill out nutrition/ workout logs
5. 6:30 and 7:30 tours at Whole Foods

By the way- In your packet, there is a general outline of vegetables. However, you may come across vegetables that were not listed that you want to try.  If so, research before you eat it or ask us and we will do the research for you!  For this challenge we are using the honesty policy.  If you cheat, you are only cheating yourself.  Proud of all of you who are taking on this challenge!  Let’s rock this thing.
