Day 1- What’s on the Menu!

WEDNESDAY

The gym will be closed Friday at 6:30 and 7:30

It’s day 1!  Everyone needs to figure out their buddy and sign the contract.  These should be turned in at the desk.  Also, show up wearing something fitted because we will be taking measurements and taking our pictures.  Starting today the following rules are in full force:

1. Must fill out nutrition and workout logs daily.
2. Must attend 3-4 workouts a week.  The more the better.
3. Must have contract signed and turned in.
4. MUST COMPLETE FITNESS TEST BY THE 3RD.
5. Clear calender for June 3 - tours will be held at 6:30 and 7:30 at Whole Foods Market.
        - If you wish to attend, post to comments which tour you are available for

Get Prepared

TUESDAY

You all have the packet and the 1st is approaching fast.  For those of you doing the June challenge, you will need to do the following:

1.Sign the contract and bring it in
2.Complete your fitness test
3.Prep the pantry
4.Find a buddy
5.Clear your calender for June 3rd -  at 6 and 7pm.  The gym will be closed during these hours.  We are going to Whole Foods for an epic tour like non other, compliments of Melody Bailey Neuman.  Food will be served.  Bring your Packets.

IF YOU ARE DOING THE JUNE CHALLENGE POST TO COMMENTS AND USE COMMENTS TO FIND A BUDDY.  IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A BUDDY- POST IT TO COMMENTS.

For all of you doing the June challenge, you can find the packet under Forums/Toolbox or click——-> Paleo Challenge Packet .  You will need to bring this with you when you do your fitness test (we are doing it tomorrow).  If you can’t make it, we will need to schedule a time before June 3rd.

NOTICE Monday is Memorial Day.  The gym will only be open at 10 o’clock.  There is no member limit so everyone is encouraged to come.

For all of you signed up for the Paleo Challenge for June 1, there is a mandatory workout that everyone must complete no later then the 3rd.  This Saturday’s workout out will be the fitness test used for day 1 .  Also on Saturday, I will explain all the rules and run through the packet with you.  If you are free this Saturday please try to attend class.  If you can’t, you will need to complete the workout no later then the 3rd and it must be done at the gym.  You must tell us ahead of time so we can make sure a trainer is here to put you through the workout.  Also everyone strive to be at the gym on the first.  We will be weighing in, taking pictures etc.  If you have any questions, please post to comments.

Since all of you are so interested in the challenge, we’ve decided to do 2 separate start dates.  One will be held in June and the other in July ( for all you vacationers).  With that being said, YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE! smile For the record….... No, you can not drink alcohol on the challenge lol.

To all the softball players- We do not have a game this weekend.  Games will resume June 5!

Tabata- 8 Rounds at each station- 20 seconds on 10 seconds off. 1 Minute rest between stations
-Box Jumps
-Sit Ups
-Ring Rows
-KB Swings

*Lowest rep in each round is the number kept for the board. At the end of the workout, all of your stations will be combined into one number.
